Dragons

"Dragons" are the saurians from the Black Fleet which crash landed on the planet which became known as Adondus.

One weapon used by the saurians is the flame thrower. They wear a harness with a tube that collects methane from their digestive tract and carries it to a helmet where the gas can be expelled and ignited to attack their adversaries. Because their laser weapons could not be recharged after the crash, they used flame throwers as weapons against the Adondi, who came to call them Dragons. (Something Wicked and The Ring)

I referred to saurians as "raptors" until October 2014.
